Oh so it is all over, like that and BAM! And suddenly Christmas is over & you feel empty & poor & slightly cheated because kids always get more presents than you.

Please note: I did not get a bike. I would like a new bike. A shiny one with a big lovely basket.

New years is the next thing. I brought sparklers. We will be asleep by 11. Party. Party hard.

More exciting news though! My sister is over! Yay!

Presents.

I keep wanting to post about all the handmade presents I have made. I can't yet though. People might read it. Ok who am I kidding no one reads this.
I don't know if it will be wrong if I buy Will a present instead of making one. It kind of goes against the whole handmade Christmas thing.
But I think it's different because obviously we live together & he's whole life is already full on my baking & sewing & thrifting & my "its so cute!!" in my shrill high pitched voice. I think he deserves something made by a professional!
I finished the last of sewing yesterday & it felt so good knowing I am nearly finished!!
Yay!!

jam jam jam jam jam

The jam making begins today. Do you know how expensive strawberries are? I'm so glad I'm doing a mix fruit one because ONE KILO OF STRAWBERRIES WAS GOING TO BE $14!! I kid you not. I could just buy my own jam. Saying that I do think it is going to be cheaper to buy jam than make it but it's so fricken cute!! And exciting!! I even made labels. I'm even going to wear my apron!!
Yay to a handmade Christmas!!
I was such a sweet girl I even told Will not to buy me another present. Maybe just a bottle of vodka. He was going to buy me perfume or lingerie. He is just so sweet.
Oh it seems were both sweet.
Other than that i got burnt at the park & glued dinosaurs to bags.
James saw Santa but didn't want to sit on his knee. It was the most awkward Santa encounter ever. I said "That Santa sucked" and the realized there is only one Santa & I said 'that Santa' but James didn't even notice because he had a lolly!

ITS GETTING CLOSER

I have 24 hours to find bottles to bottle 7 litres of ginger beer. It just ain't going to happen.
I really thought I had enough.
In other news, Will finally joined up to my blog. What a champ.
And I'm a little stressed about Christmas. I made a doll for a friends girl & I think it's ugly. IT HAS NO NECK!! What do I do? I'm thinking of cutting it open so the poor thing has a head & a body not a headbody. Poor dolly.

Other than my heart feeling like it's being crushed into a hearty bloody pulp of loneliness - there is so much lightning tonight. It's really pretty & calming though it is meant to be summer.

Sorry Christmas spirit!! I don't know if you have noticed all those stupid status updates on fb about holiday greetings & how 'someone' is trying to turn the Christmas season into holiday or something?
I just deleted the people who posted it. Pretty sure Christmas is not what it use to be.
Pretty sure Santa was made up by coca cola & his suit was green.
This is not the point of my post. The point is I delete people off fb if they annoy me.

Are you ready for Christmas? I am making ginger beer from scratch & I don't think it will be ready. 14 liters of ginger beer!!! It's going to be awesome. I use to drink it all the time when I was pregnant with Amelia. I have never made it before but apparently my dad use to make it all the time.
So two weeks to go & I've nearly finished this home made crap I committed too. Got a bit sidetracked an made 4 owls.
Yep obsessed. Start making jam & relish this week. Gosh am I 27 or 87?
Now I am rambling.

I am back.....

I have not been able to post for awhile now. Which yes I know it is sad. It is OK. Things will get better I will post more.
Just looking at my stats. Freaks me out a little. I seem to have a few people from Russia interested. Is that normal? I do not know.
I have had a sick bambino & busy making presents for Christmas. I mean making from scratch because I am a freak & I thought it would be a swell idea to have a handmade Christmas.
Well now I am busy as anything. Used so much thread. There is thread everywhere. It would have been easier (AND SO MUCH MORE QUICKER) to buy presents. Oh well.
So I will get in the swing of things. Make my page more pretty. Add some buttons. Stuff like that.
