Will built a fence. It is pretty epic. Now we have privacy! On Wednesday we are getting our security windows up so that means even more privacy! I would build a wall around our house if we could!

Been busy. Work. Visiting lovely ladies and a mending dad.
James is back at school on Tuesday. I have started running again. God. Twice this week. Pretty good since I have been sick with hay fever.

Not much else to report. Hopefully we get grass soon!! Yep it will be epic. Once the sand is gone we can start painting!

I know it has been a while.
So much has happened.
This happened

Book week and he got best costume in kindy. Yay!

This also happened. How big are they? So big.

The most exciting thing though (no offence Cat in the Hat) was this....

 

Yep that double brick 4 (3) by 1 is ours. The For Sale sign was taken down before we had time to take a photo with it. Saying that it was up for a week after settlement. Anyway.

It will be renovated. It will be painted. Things will be planted and walls will be knocked. Did I mention I now own a flash double oven? Oh yes and its black. There is exposed brick throughout the whole house and I mean there is not one wall plastered. It is literally a brick house. On a massive block.

350 METRES FROM THE BEACH. You can actually see the beach from our driveway. And smell the beach and hear the beach. The best thing is no more renting. There are pink tiles in the bathroom and I have this growing need to rip the lino off the floor but other than that it's fine for now!

 

I brought the kids curtains yesterday. Turns out buying them is actually cheaper than making them. I have no storage space whatsoever. That's ok though.

So this has been our life so far. We have only been here a week (!), we have so many plans, hopefully everything runs smoothly!!

Did I tell you Will shaved off his beard. Sorry I mean his epic beard. It was lovely. Nice and soft. No yucky sharp whiskers hurting my precious sensitive skin. Then he sneaked off into the bathroom and the shit head got rid of it.
Of course all the old people loved it. Yeah they don't have their skin ripped to shreds all the time. If their skin was, well then that would just be weird hey. One of those old people was his mum. haha! Awkward.
Anyway. The shit head shaves everyday and leaves his feral little tiny hairs in his sink. Oh they are foul. Thankfully our bathroom has double sinks. I still clean it though. Everyday. Yucky little tiny hairs.
Story gets worse. I was working on Saturday and was ID-ing a member who was clean shaven and then on his ID he has this massive epic long bushy beard. I, being the awesome loser I am, asked him if he felt sad when he cut his beard off. Yep. 50 something man and I asked him if he felt sad. Then I proceeded to tell him that Will snuck off and shaved his off and I still can not accept it and felt a little betrayed.
Thankfully Mr Ex-Beardy sympathised with me. Or maybe he just did so he could get his money and leave the weirdo. Weirdo being me.

One of those weeks

You know when both kids are snotty. When Will has to work more than usual. When a bike falls down and breaks your toe. One of those weeks. It's only Wednesday!! Eeek!!

Procrastinate? Yes please

So we have set a date for our engagement party.
AND THAT IS IT!!
24th of March & that's as far as it has gone. Why? I don't know. We are just not into it. So much organizing. I don't want to do it. Wills on the net researching our August holiday & I'm playing angry birds. Seriously.
We were even going to go look at display homes today.
Next weekend we were going to go down south & test out beers at the beer festival - for our wedding of course, brewery wedding & all. In the meantime we got a baby sitter, a reservation & discussing going to the movies here. What the heck?
Why are we doing this? I mean why are we doing nothing.
Urg I don't know.
I need to get cracking......after I pass this level.

Trying trying trying

At the moment I am trying to make my blog look lovely. Gosh it is hard.
I want to add buttons but I have to have experience according to blogger. I have noooooo experience.
So please bare (bear raaaa) with me while I try & fix this up.
Maybe I should employ someone. Or maybe I will just youtube it?

Presents.

I keep wanting to post about all the handmade presents I have made. I can't yet though. People might read it. Ok who am I kidding no one reads this.
I don't know if it will be wrong if I buy Will a present instead of making one. It kind of goes against the whole handmade Christmas thing.
But I think it's different because obviously we live together & he's whole life is already full on my baking & sewing & thrifting & my "its so cute!!" in my shrill high pitched voice. I think he deserves something made by a professional!
I finished the last of sewing yesterday & it felt so good knowing I am nearly finished!!
