One of those days

You know when you have so much to do in one day you actually have to write "shower" on your list?!
Yep it's one of those days.
Though the exciting thing is its all for the engagement party (minus food shopping & cleaning the house)!

Very happy & excited! Only a little stressed....
Got news only yesterday that one of my "good friends" would not be coming. She had 6 weeks to contact me. Oh well. She will not be coming to the wedding!! I kid you not. It may seem harsh but it's one of those relationships when we see each other when it suits her. She has not even met Amelia yet. Enough icky talk. I'm just very disappointed!
Anyway I have to go and paint some records!

This I why I hate women's magazines! I don't even think cosmopolitan is a women's magazine. Amelia will not be reading magazines like this. Not because of the bad sex advice, bad clothes, bad music, bad make up. I can go on and on and on. You know what I'm not going to. I will just not buy it. I happened to read one while getting my hair done & they had results from a questionnaire answered by guys. Let's just say apparently brunettes are hotter. Guys like girls who don't exercise. And tattoos are not hot. Erm excuse me they fricken are!!

One of those weeks

You know when both kids are snotty. When Will has to work more than usual. When a bike falls down and breaks your toe. One of those weeks. It's only Wednesday!! Eeek!!

Arrrrrrrrr!!!

Gosh I am getting excited about our engagement party!! Knowing so many I love will be there is making me all yay inside!! Though I think one of my oldest & dearest friends will not come & I know she will say no because she lives so far away & I'm preparing for it but I will be sad. Super sad!
Went op shopping with Kate today & brought 2 trays for the party! And a dress pattern for Amelia. Oh my gosh such cute designs!! Very excited!
Other than that I have gone back to work, still unsure about that one. I need too. I can't be a stay at home mumma, it's really not for me. 2 days is perfect. I don't know.....urggggg!!

Road trip!!

(Technically going to Ikea is a road trip for me... )
Kate, Amelia & I went to Ikea yesterday. On the way to Ikea listening to Little Dragon. That should have been my Facebook status but the overdose of babies for the bonds competition is literally killing me.
Look I'm into modeling. I use to do it but I do not want to see hundreds of pictures of random babies on my news feed. It's so irritating. And let's be honest not every kid is gorgeous. Ok that might be a but harsh but gee whizz, to many photos.
Anyway. Ikea yesterday. It was awesome. Didn't go crazy & try to stuff a bookcase in the xtrail. I should have.
I do need to go again though.....to buy said bookcase.
Anyway need to go clean my teeth. ta ta

Procrastinate? Yes please

So we have set a date for our engagement party.
AND THAT IS IT!!
24th of March & that's as far as it has gone. Why? I don't know. We are just not into it. So much organizing. I don't want to do it. Wills on the net researching our August holiday & I'm playing angry birds. Seriously.
We were even going to go look at display homes today.
Next weekend we were going to go down south & test out beers at the beer festival - for our wedding of course, brewery wedding & all. In the meantime we got a baby sitter, a reservation & discussing going to the movies here. What the heck?
Why are we doing this? I mean why are we doing nothing.
Urg I don't know.
I need to get cracking......after I pass this level.

For my new pill. I kid you not.
Nothing else is good for me. No injections, no implants. The mini pill turned me into a little wittle scary monster. So my doctor puts me on this pill that has "low" side affects. Helps with bloating, anemia, mood swings AND it's a contraceptive pill as well. Shock!! But at this price you better hope it does all this.
I'm hoping with exercising regularly & eating healthy (I'm so healthy at the moment it's disturbing) I won't be a psycho.
Oh psycho times. Good times. Fond memories.
I will let you know how it goes. Pretty nifty packet too. Very 90s or 80s I sometimes forget which era was the daggy one.
